I don't give a rat's ass about Texas high school football, but I love this show. Great characters, amazing acting, interesting photography and story lines. I can't say I'm much of a fan of the TV show, but do read the book by Bissinger. And while you are at it, read his "A Prayer for the City", about then mayor (now governor) Rendell in Philadelphia.
